Steven is a founding Director of Penta. He was formally a Director in the private equity division of The Royal Bank of Scotland. As well as transacting his focus is on fundraising and investor relations. Steven is a Chartered Accountant having trained with Arthur Andersen after graduating from the University of Glasgow.

Torquil is a founding Director of Penta and had previously been an Investment Executive with the private equity team at The Royal Bank of Scotland. Torquil qualified as a corporate lawyer after obtaining degrees from the Universities of St Andrews and Aberdeen.

Mark is a founding Director of Penta and had previously been an Investment Executive with the private equity team at The Royal Bank of Scotland. Mark holds an honours degree in Economics and Law from the University of Strathclyde as well as an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.

David is a founding Director of Penta and had previously been an Investment Executive with the private equity team at the Royal Bank of Scotland. David is a Chartered Accountant and worked with Coopers & Lybrand in Edinburgh and Toronto after graduating from the University of Edinburgh.

Craig joined Penta in July 2000. He was previously a director of merchant bank Noble Grossart, where he worked on a wide range of public and private transactions throughout the UK. Craig is a Chartered Accountant having trained with Arthur Andersen in Scotland after graduating in Law from Edinburgh University.

Michael joined Penta as Assistant Director in July 2000. Previously he was with Bank of Scotland's Structured Finance Team. He is qualified with a degree in Law from the University of Utrecht.

Paul joined Penta in July 2000 and was appointed as the company’s Finance Director in February 2002. He joined the company from Glasgow based investment manager, Murray Johnstone Limited where he was Accounting Manager responsible for the preparation of the Group's financial and management reporting information. Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Stoy Hayward after graduating from the University of Glasgow.
