The company provides fixed line, mobile, broadband and other utility products to c.850,000 residential customers in eight countries: Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Portugal and Czech Republic. Customers are acquired through a network of 13,000 agents selling by personal contact and referral. It operates in conjunction with established suppliers including Cable & Wireless, BT, Orange, Mobistar and T.Mobile.

Penta provided equity funding in August 2004 for the £20m BIMBO of Euphony by Giles Redpath, formerly CEO of Alpha Telecoms (which was bought by Tele2 in 2003) and VP Europe of Telegroup Inc.
